Photos from recent bike ride

We went on a two hour bike ride Friday. Now this is a pedal bike not motor bike. There are many trails here near the Grand River, so there is always somewhere to go that is new.

Dan took this Yellowed -Billed Cuckoo

There were hundreds of these baby toads hopping everywhere, we had to be careful not to run over them.

This guy landed very close to me, the blue color was electric.

This is a Delaware Skipper Butterfly on lovely Common Cinqfoil, it belongs in the rose family

This cloud formation was so striking.

Cow Parsley is quite an amazing plant.

This is Dan riding up to look at the Crown Vetch

Dan took this of the dandelion Weed, I have not found the name yet

Dan took this photo of the Common Cinqfoil blowing in the breeze.

Swans at Long Point, Ontario

Last weekend we went down to Long Point which is in Ontario. The link I have provided will take you on a tour of the point. There is a bird studies which is committed to understanding and conversation of Canada's wild birds and habitats. Here is a Long Point Bird check list.

This is beside the area where they band the birds in Long Point.

Walk near Cambridge, Ontario

We found this new place to walk on one of our adventure drives home from Cambridge. In the middle of the walk there is an area where people feed the birds. The first day we were there we did not have the camera. The second time we had it. Here are some of the shots taken.
